Get started free — as a family
The same APK for a parent's and a child's phone. Choose a role when you launch the app.
Download FamilyGuardFor Android 6.0 and newer. Downloading and installing the app do not, by themselves, activate a paid subscription.
Download and open the APK. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser you used to download it. Choose the parent role on your phone.
Add a member in “My profile and family”. On the second phone, choose the child role and join using the invitation.
Follow the permissions wizard on the child's device. It explains why each permission is needed. Send a test message and check the location.

The base plan for one family
Payments are not connected yet; there is no subscription to buy or renew now. The extra-device package will become available after subscriptions launch. Its renewal date matches the base plan; if added partway through a period, the price is prorated for the remaining time and shown before confirmation. Future plan prices follow the current Public Offer.

Open the help centreAndroid 6.0 and newer. Parents and children install the same app. Individual features depend on the phone model, Android version and permissions. An iPhone version is not currently offered.
The parent's phone shows available data and controls. The child's phone shares permitted information and receives family messages and calls. Connect both devices to the same family to link them.
The base plan includes 3 child and 2 adult devices. Phones and tablets each use a separate place. Once paid subscriptions launch, you will be able to add one package of 5 devices, for a total of 10. Extra places cannot be purchased yet.
No. During the free launch, all features are available without payment or entering payment details. Any future paid order will require separate confirmation. There are no payment buttons on the website at present.
Check the child's internet connection, location settings and permissions. Android battery-saving settings may restrict background operation. Some features need additional system confirmations. See Help for step-by-step checks.
The app is intended for family use. Connect a child's device with a legal representative's involvement and explain the purpose of the features. Adults join with their consent. System confirmations and indicators remain in place.
Open “Settings → My profile and family”. Disconnecting a device frees a place but does not delete the profile. Removing a member, deleting an account and deleting a family are separate actions. Their effects and available steps are explained under “Account and data deletion” in Help.
Open “Settings → Support” in the app. Describe what happened and include your phone model and FamilyGuard version. Use the provided button to send a log if it is needed for diagnosis. Do not send your account password.
